In the clear shallows around the grottos you'll see shoals of bream and the occasional octopus tucked into the rocks. Cormorants and gulls work the cliffs, and in spring and summer you may spot terns diving.
Further out, pods of common dolphins pass along this coast, and lucky boats see them riding the bow wave. We never chase or crowd them — if they come to you, it's a gift.
Take only photos, leave only ripples: this coast stays beautiful because the people who work it treat it gently.
